Zoltan Kodály, composer and music educator, has long provided a source of inspiration to music teachers from varied cultures and backgrounds. The Kodály method of classroom (or instrumental) music teaching is based on a child-developmental approach to learning. Teacher Training Courses offered by the Victorian Branch of KMEIA provide participants with a knowledge of structures and sequences, as well as the practical skills and repertoire suitable for child abilities at various stages of growth. Three courses will be run in 2008 beginning on February 23.
