Need some fresh ideas for the end of year?

This workshop is for Primary teachers covering:

  • A wide range of repertoire for use in the classroom
  •  Ideas for end of year performances
  • Teaching strategies for use in the music classroom

Presenters:

Mark Puddy composer, conductor with Australian Girls Choir and currently teaching at Firbank Girls Grammar, will present  Choral repertoire for Primary to Middle Years for all special occasions. 

Lou Horgan, a teacher-trainer with the Australian Boys Choir and with an interest in Steiner Education will present ideas for celebratory repertoire for the Lower Years.

Susan Searle, classroom music teacher at Turner House (Firbank Grammar Junior School) will present ideas and activities for developing musical skills through seasonal material.

 

Registration from 9.00am. Sessions run from 9.30am – 3.00pm  (Please arrive early allowing time to find a park in surrounding streets, restrictions apply)
Cost: Members: $80
Non-members: $95

Early bird registrations have now closed for this event
Concession: $45 (Pensioners and full time students)
