Featured Presenters:
Darren Wicks is currently National Vice President of KMEIA. He is heavily involved in Kodály teacher training courses and a regular presenter at Victorian conferences. Darren's studies include: Music Education and Jazz Piano at the University of Melbourne, a Master of Music Education from Monash University, and he is currently completing a Ph.D in voice pedagogy at the University of Sydney, working with noted voice scientist, Richard Miller. Darren is a graduate of the Brisbane Summer Institute and holds the Australian Kodály Certificate in Music Education. He currently teaches at Firbank Grammar School.
Christoph Maubach has been an Orff music education specialist for more than twenty years, lecturing at the Australian Catholic University and presenting many workshops overseas including China. In 2004, Christoph received the ANCOS Award of Honour for his contribution of music and movement education in Australia.
