Australian Kodály Certificate
The Australian Kodály Certificate is a unique course of professional development designed to equip studio and classroom music teachers with the skills and resources they need to deliver a sequential aural-based music curriculum that will engage students and achieve outstanding results.
This is the only fully accredited and nationally recognised program of teacher training in the Kodály concept. This award has been in existence for some 20 years and during this time many teachers both nationally and internationally have successfully completed the requirements.
Kodály Teacher Training
The Kodály concept of music education continues to attract great attention in Australia, primarily because of its ability to offer children stimulating and enjoyable music lessons while at the same time addressing the need to teach the whole person in a sequential and logical manner. This article describes the process commonly used by teachers to become knowledgable and skilled in the Kodály approach.
